Whenever I think about high-powered blenders, the Vitamix E310 vs Pro 750 come to mind. And unless you have the budget and kitchen space to buy both, you need to know which is the better choice for you, right?
I personally believe that the Vitamix Pro 750 has a lot to offer to its users. It’s got more advanced features up its sleeve than the Vitamix E310 which is more compact and basic but powerful nevertheless.
The setup process of both blenders is just to plug it in and start. No assembly. No manually tweaking the settings. And definitely no cluttered and sticky mess to clean up afterwards.
What is different is their sizes – the E310 is good for small servings (up to 48 ounces) while the Pro 750 is good for a large prep (up to 64 ounces). That’s what you really need to ask yourself before choosing one. What size of blender do I want?

Vitamix E310 vs Pro 750: Differences
The Vitamix Pro 750 wins 3 – 1 against the E310. This is because the Vitamix Pro 750 has 5 pre-programmed settings + 10 variable speed settings for blending different wet or dry ingredients.
1. Blending Performance
The Winner: It’s A Tie!
The Vitamix Pro 750 is more expensive than the E310 – it is almost two times the cost of the Pro 750. Is it because the Pro 750 performs better than the E310? That’s up for debate…
+Container Size
The difference here doesn’t say anything bad about any one of the competitors. It’s a matter of personal preference and need.
If you plan on blending larger quantities of ingredients at one time, then you require the Vitamix Pro 750 which comes with a 64-ounce container. The Vitamix E310 features a smaller 48-ounce container which is good for small families (between 1-3 people).
Performance-wise, both E310 and Pro 750 are amazing. For making smoothies, protein shakes, milkshakes, butters, soups, purees, etc.
The E310 is smaller, within budget, and more convenient to use (because of its smaller size) than the Pro 750. The Pro 750 can fit 2 cups of ingredients while the E310 can fit only 1 cup at a time.
If you’re in college or have limited kitchen space, it makes sense to buy the E310 because it’s affordable and compact. It does the same blending as the Pro 750. The 48-ounce container will hold everything very comfortably.
The Pro 750 is bigger so it can hold more ingredients in a single sitting. It won’t heat up with 2 cups. It’s great for making larger servings of food and given its price and durability, it’s not going to look or feel worn out any time soon.
+Blade Size
Again, since the E310 has the 48-ounce jar, the 3-inch blades are most compatible with its size. The Pro 750 features a 64-ounce jar which means it has 4-inch blades and that is phenomenal as well.
The blade sizes are different but they are fitting considering the small and big sizes of the containers. Having too wide or narrow blades will spoil the blending consistency and speed. So the blades are perfect and work effectively in their respective containers.
+Power
Like I’ve already mentioned, everything related to the blending performance is similar between the Vitamix E310 vs Pro 750. Each has its own charm – only different sizes. This includes the power rating of the blenders as well – 2.0 HP vs 2.2 HP motor.
The 2.0 is powerful enough for a 48-ounce blender and so is the 2.2 HP motor for a 64-ounce blender. There’s no difference in speed, consistency, or efficiency between both blenders.
2. Controls / Settings
The Winner: Vitamix Pro 750
+Pre-Programmed Settings
This is where you pay more for the Vitamix Pro 750 and not the E310. The Pro 750 features 5 automated blending modes alongside the 10 variable speed settings. These blending modes take care of various blending functions such as smoothie, frozen dessert, soup, and puree. The last mode is actually the self-cleaning mode. Additionally, it also has the Pulse setting for extra-powerful blending.
The Vitamix E310 features the 10 variable speed settings and a Pulse feature. It does not feature any pro-programmed blending modes. While you can control making a smoothie or a frozen dessert or soup using the variable speed settings on the E310, on the Pro 750 you simply have to select that specific function without guessing what level you need to be at to get something done.
So the Pro 750 definitely simplifies this process for beginners. This makes the blending performance faster, more user-friendly, and smart for people who blend every day.
3. Utilities
The Winner: Vitamix Pro 750
+Cord Length
The Pro 750 has a long cord, longer than the E310. The difference here is by 1.5 feet. So the Pro 750 has a 6 feet cord while the E310 has a 4.5 feet cord. For storage and setting up the blender, the additional 1.5 feet is helpful. It means you can keep the Pro 750 anywhere on the counter and still reach the electric outlet easily.
+Warranty
Warranties on kitchen appliances that you know you’ll use every day are necessary. And the Vitamix Pro 750 offers a great dial with its 7-year warranty. The E310 offers 5 years which is not bad at all but considering that the Pro 750 costs more than the E310, the 2+ years is a relief.
The warranty of the Pro 750 is significantly higher than most blenders within the price range. So when it comes down to blade quality and motor performance, you have nothing to worry about.
Vitamix E310 vs Pro 750: Similarities
1. Material
Both blenders feature BPA-free plastic containers that are see-through and sturdy. The blade is made up of stainless steel which is odor-resistant and scratch-resistant. You can easily wipe the blades after use or easily rinse the entire carafe.
The handles on the carafe make it easier to hold and pour from. With a secure lid that consists of two layers of protection against spilling or leaking during blending.
2. 10 Variable Speeds
You’ve got 10 speeds to pick from when you use the E310 and Pro 750. The speed selection will save you time and effort in figuring out how well the final result is.
You can increase or decrease the speed depending on the time and consistency you require. The Vitamix blenders are equipped with powerful motors that, even at higher speeds, do not rattle or make a loud noise.
You can adjust the speed using the simple and sturdy dial. Or even select the Pulse feature which is the highest speed setting on top of the 10 variable speeds to break down thick ingredients quickly.
The Pulse switch is not like the variable speed switch because you can turn it on and off at the highest speed to add the finishing touches to your blend. If you make protein smoothies or milkshakes regularly, you’ll find this feature to be most helpful.
3. Self-Cleaning Mode
On top of being easy and quick to clean with a simple rinse under running tap water, these blenders also have a special self-cleaning feature for you to make use of.
After blending, add warm water and a few drops of dish soap in the blender. Put the lid on and select the cleaning mode. Within 30 seconds, the blender will have removed all the food residue from under the blades and from the corners of the jar.
Whether it’s the E310’s 48 ounce jar or the Pro 750’s 64 ounce jar, the self-cleaning mode is fast, versatile, and 100% effective.
Similarly, to maintain the blender’s performance and design quality, Vitamix has also bestowed features like the cooling fan and thermal protection system for daily upkeep. These features are present in both blenders.

I am sure you love food. Otherwise, you won’t be here. As a full-time and a part-time chef at a local restaurant, I know my way around food. Ever since I was a young girl, I enjoyed helping my mom in the kitchen.
We would often experiment with the spices, ingredients, and flavors and create great meals for my brothers and dad. Since cocking was my first passion, I decided to go in that direction. I finished culinary school, got my first job, and started developing my skills.
Later when kids came, I had all the liberty in the kitchen to combine some of the unique flavors. A lot of them were a success, but now and there I would make a couple of mistakes.
